"I had goals that I wanted to achieve and had a vague knowledge of putting training principles together into a tangible program that yielded results. Apart from that, I have lost the motivation to train at the start of the pandemic. I needed some accountability in reaching my fitness goals. I tried making a program that I strung up together from knowledge gained through Youtube and other online sources and initially enjoyed some results. Eventually, I stopped progressing as my strength stayed the same."
It was my first time joining a small-group lifting session with a knowledgeable trainer. It was a different atmosphere because it combined the community aspect of the group training and personalized attention from the coach. In the past, I relied on training partners, and their advice and training methods worked for them but did not seem to work for me. The small group training sessions were more flexible and empowering. I saw my strength levels improve when I started moving more weight than I previously lifted. It is a big deal for me to experience a training modality that worked for me personally. It feels good to know that my time in the gym would not be wasted because I know what works for me.
"I would tell myself that the LIFT Academy training is honest, empowering, and effective. It is definitely worth it if you were looking for a community to be held accountable with your fitness goals and a community that encourages you to be the best version of yourself."
